Re: 2000 Civic:"D"-aily and Turbo
No dyno today, my AFR plug isnt long enough...gotta order extension, andddd i had the bungs on valvecover welded wrong angle...cant use it sadly.
I didnt like it much, the powdercoat guys grinded the letters down too much and it looked weird....but hopefully cord get in tomorrow and dyno maybe Tues or so after some miles are put on it

Beautiful build, keep it up! Check out a Canadian D16 Turbo build if you want It's in my last posts entitled "D16 Turbo Build". I'll be keeping an eye. Catch can wise, did they just want the bungs on the valve cover to be straight back and not angled upwards like you had them do?

Turbo noises are fun.
Emailed Greg @ GOAuto about a turbo inlet pipe and filter to complete the sleek look.
Maybe a overflow tank to, that plastic one just is meh in there now

Said the hood wouldn't close with them how I had them welded... I'm a lil glad... I hated how the powder coat shop grinded the vtec letters down too much and it looked blah

That sucks about the catch can bungs being welded in the wrong spot but at least you get to fix what you didn't like!

JP-parts from Japan
Thanks.Yeh it did man, i was just getting used to it. Im just glad we found it vs not knowing what was causing it. That woulda sucked infinitely more
Thanks, that was my biggest concern. I knew i wouldnt be able to drive it if i didnt love how it sounded. Main reason i went recirculated wastegate, i hate that loudness...its chaos
Thanks boss...ima try to get it looking right this year. Maybe full repaint, but idk if i wanna throw more money at it lol.
