Yes, relay is removed. I will do tests as suggested in post #50. It'll have to wait till tomorrow afternoon.
I'll update as soon as I get home!

If your friend used 96-00 wire harness it's very likely that they didn't plug into the factory location on the fuse block . Maybe your friend who did the conversion could shed some light on the wiring ! Or trace wires from the door plug to see where they end up

Re: Looking for Electric Window Roll-up diagram for door
The issue has been resolved this morning. I took a look at the connectors again on both the driver and passenger side door. Specifically, I looked at the switch that rolls the window up and down. I noticed a little corrosion on the inside of the plug. I cleaned it up a little bit and plugged them both back in. Everything started working after that.
Thank you so much for the help and continued patience from the members on this forum. This was a huge relief for me. Now I can move along and get the last few things done and finally patch up this car.
I have to put the spotlight on RonJ for a quick moment. Thanks again for all your help. You're exceptional when it comes to troubleshooting in all areas. You've been very patient. Much appreciated! By the way, where did you get your online service manual from? I'd like to nab a copy.
