Why do you want to primer it? Just for the flat paint look? Do you have a budget? Any experience? Anything?

Ya I think your putting the cart before the horse or however that saying goes. What's you main objective? What are you looking to have as an end result? I think your going about this all wrong.

If you plan on getting it painted later, do not primer it unless you want to pay to have everything you did removed when they paint it.

You never want to "PRIMER" your car because you want it all one color. PRIMER IS ONLY FOR BODY WORK! Just ride it out until you have money to paint it, you're just wasting your money/creating more work for yourself when you actually do decide to paint it.

You need to do a lot more research about painting and how to do it, before posting a question like this and slapping some paint on your car.

ok im new to ht but not new to working on cars. the first thing i can tell you is do not use spray paint on your car. everybody is right if you dont kno what your doing your gonna create more work for yourself and a bigger bill at the body shop. i kno cause i work at a body shop we charge way more to work on sumthing that sumbody else started. if youre really serious about doing it yourself maybe you should look into a comunity college course. thas how i got into the bodyshop thing. i feel you on having your car in one color cause thas why i primerd mine it was about four difrent colors teal ,gold, burgundy, n surface rust brown. but where theres a will theres a way. pm me if you want n i could give you sum tips
