setting the timing on a 94 accord ex
hey, ive posted a few post about how my car baugs out for a few seconds before accelerating... i changed plugs wires, o2 sensor, fuel pump, and didnt help at all.. i brought the car to the dealer i bought if from and he advanced my timing a little by eye not with a light though.. the car ran better then ever... so when i got home i tried to adjust a lttle more.. now the car is back running the same it was... the dealer told me that since my car has 110,000 miles on it, that some times the stock timing isnt always correct.. is this true?? and whats the best way to get the right timing?????
thanks

At a mileage that high wouldn't it just be smarter to replace the timing components and set them at TDC? Unless of course it has already been done. Becareful how you drive the car off timing can destroy a lot of stuff in these interferance engines.... And it also surprises me that a dealer would not use a timing light when adjusting your timing.... sounds kinda weird..
