Good thing my name is Joe too. 
The triggers in the distributor have never been the weak part of the OEM Honda ignition system. If it used something that looked like the AEM EPM, how would that help anything besides aesthetics? Don't get me wrong, ask anyone, I doubt everything until I either test it myself, or someone I trust to properly do the job tests it.

and aftermarket oem replacements sucks ***
why make newer technology parts which still rely on a dinosaur to work?
and as far as the coils go....im running my stock coil and dizzy spinning to 10k w/ no problems. not to mention im the quickest allmotor car still running a dizzy. id say the stock coil is plenty.
the proper way to do cop is to eliminate the dizzy so we dont need to rely on it at all. just my .02

come up with a nice block off plate using some aluminum plate or even ABS plastic and your cutting down the goofiness quite a bit. One guy noted the TACH needing the STOCK ICM. is this true or does this give hondata the signal it needs....most guys using this could get rid of the ICM if they are using aftermarket tachs or displays, i would assume.

Already working on making the CNC machined billet distributor caps in my machine shop here, obviously I've had this unit for months now..

Sorry, I meant to reply to that question but got sidetracked, lol..
For the earlier comment about old distributors, you can buy a new sub assembly (housing with tdc, ckp, and cyl sensors) new from the dealers still, for the same or less than an AEM EPM. You're nuts if you think the AEM product quality is better than OEM Honda.

Working on Sunday, so that they'll be ready this week.. So far 2 part numbers cover almost all D, B, H, and F-series applications...

because oem honda distributors are becoming harder to find, not to mention they are all old as dirt.
