painted door panels? how to strip the paint off
Just picked up civic with light grey interior but they spray painted the door panels black wondering if anyone can tell me how to take the black paint off without messing up the grey color under it. Any advice will help ?

Depends on what they used to paint the interior. For some stuff, rubbing alcohol and simple green might work and will cause minimal damage.

You can also use a hot water mixed with castrol superclean or believe it or not hand cleaner such as go Jo....I had a friend with a similar issue and I used a mix of those..(mix to strengh needed due to paint build up) and just used a simple green soap sponge from the typical dollar store the green side of course and those paticular sponges once wet don't scratch as much as your gonna need somthing with a small abrasive to it to help break down the coats.....since I'm sure its more than one coat ..but use this only to break the surface or the top coating off then switch to more of just the hot water .....HONESTLY!! in my opinion find a cheap part out on craigslist and you gonna find its much easier and cleaner on that approach buddy!!

Non synthetic brake fluid is mild enough to take the paint off but leave underneath ok.
I would hit up the junk yards for the easiest fix!

Is it plastic drip( or something like that?) , just try to use rubbing alcohol on some less visible place and see whats going on there
