Default what happens if theres air in the hydro clutch system?

i changed my slave cylinder but im not completely sure if i bled the system completely. i didnt have a bleeder hose so i just tried to look to see if no bubbles were coming out. the SC was definately bad but now when i drive sometimes itll shift like the slave is still bad. can having air still in the system have the same effect as having a bad SC?

you definately need to re-bleed the system. It's not hard to do by yourself it just takes tome finesse.
Put a latex glove on your right hand and have your wrench on the bleeder crack it open and make a cup over the cylinder with your palm and push down, (this forces the fluid through like normal bleeding(kinda)). Then close the bleeder pump the pedal a few times top off the fluid and repeat till done.

You don't have to have a hose. And did you ever run out of fluid? How do the brakes feel?
