Default maint req'd light

my maint req'd light came on and i dont know what it is. does any one know how to check what is wrong.
i dont want the problem to get worse.

any help would be great.

It comes on at set intervals ... Honda sets the times ... basically wants you to come in for standard service. Nothing is wrong with the car ... unless you have other warning lights on with it as well. Just have it reset by the dealership ... or you could just leave it on.

no it will come on at certain miles on the odometer if you want to know what services honda wants you to do at those miles call them up and tell them how many miles are on the car and theyll give you a list of what they recommend and then you can just do it yourself................... if you want to get rid of the light without going to the dealership hold down the trip reset **** on the cluster turn the key to the on position and wait for the light to go off

look in your manual its in there thats how i turned mine off

And the manual actually gives you a maintanence schedule so you can see what should be done at whatever mileage you're at. Pretty neat, huh?

i dont have a manual either but i woukld like to get one. does any one know how i can get one because that would be great or how to download one.
