HELP>>> Car alarm wont stop auto arming
Ok so someone else installed my alarm. I ripped everything out because 1) the wiring and the siren were too obvious 2)the shock sensor was mounted on plastic on the dash.and 3) I had to dissconnect power to the system everytime i wanted to drive my car cause it kept auto arming.
Now ive done a reinstall im still stuck with problem number 3. I do have some experience with car alarms that i gained while working in a Car audio/security shop that my uncle owns for 2 summers and i followed suspendedhatch's stealth install for the most part(by the way great write up and thank you ) so i know what im doing. so there it is i need help ..honda theft is a fad in O town.

i didnt pay that much for the alarm but thats the same one i got. the wiring diagram is a little more confusing for the system w/out the remote start like i will be using
i might however hook up the remote start if i could get a walk through
The yellow wire on the six pin harness should be taped into the yellow/black ignition wire right?

Re: HELP>>> Car alarm wont stop auto arming (stptrynastlmyhatch)
well looking at the diagram p2 is a jumper to turn off the auto arming function. Also the white wire seems to be the ignition on input wire to let the alarm brain know the ignition was tampered with while the alarm was armed. There are lil black triangles that seem to show input or output. If the white wire is not hooked up the alarm does not know the car is on an will re-arm its self.

Re: (stptrynastlmyhatch)
Ditto the above, move jumper to auto arming off, and connect the brown lead, [6P]
to the ign. switch, [black/yellow] the yellow lead, [6P] is starter output, not needed unless you want to connect remote start, however...Automatic transmission only ( not for manual transmission) 94

thank you everyone, i got it fixed now. Yesterday i went to a local shop and the guy had me convinced that it was the blue wire(6p) however that didnt work, My alrm with still arm and go off with my car running. It turns out that it was the brown wire so now the alarm works 8/10 cause i still cant get the damn thing to stop auto arming, i tried the jumpers and the instructions to use the remote, still nothing.ill just keep the valet switch handy thats all
