Default F20C swap?

ok heres the deal. my frend has a 2000 civic ex with an d16y8 in it and its got about 103k miles on it. he doesnt know the first thing about how a motor works or how to work on one so i pretty mush stepped up to the plate and told him i'll be his wheelman. all he wants for his civic is to be badass but also not like many other civics. so i looked around and looked around and finally came up wit the fact that it isnt worth droppn around 3k by swappn parts wit aftermarket bc all i'd get is like 170hp out of it with out a turbo, with a turbo i'd end up wit like 210-250hp. woohoo right.. i want more from the car so im saying f*** the d16 (no offense to the d16 engine cause i see its potential) but i want more for it. so i want to drop 4k puttn an f20c motor in it and still have room to make a mean machine instead of droppn 4k in the d16 and topping out at like 250hp. i am kinda stuck btwn wat i think we should do and im lookn for the opinion of the more knowledgeable ppl on here to see if you guys agree thats a good idea or disagree that i am an idiot.

F20C = RWD S2000 engine

This engine alone will probably cost you more than $4000. The build will probably take you a very long time, and cost a bunch of money, depending on your know-how.

Now, if you mean the F20B, then you ought to be a lot better off.

No, the F20B is the Accord Euro R engine. (I was also thinking of doing that swap...)

intake manifold = h22
dizzy = h22
timing belt = unique, uses 156 teeth, you can use a h22 one. (see below)
waterpump = h22
Oil Pan = F23

Misconceptions about the F20B:
1. It does NOT come with a single stage intake manifold. That is found on the H22A7 European Accord type R. For everything that you'd ever want to know about that intake manifold click here:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1960750

2. It does NOT have type S cams. It is believed that it has the same cams that are found in the JDM H22.

3. Most engines will be from the automatics which have a smaller tb and weaker camshafts.

Specs of other honda ~2 literish engines for comparison

F20C = 240hp, 163tq (JDM)
K20R = 220hp, 158tq (JDM)
H22A = 200hp, 161tq (JDM)
H22S = 220hp, 163tq (JDM)
H23A = 160hp, 156tq
H23VTEC = 197hp, 163tq
k20a2 = 200hp @ 7400, 142tq @ 6000
