The side port connects to a vacuum source . The top one is left open . There is only one opening at the top the other one up there is the adjustment screw with a nut to keep it inplace after adjusting it.

Thanks for your reply. I wonder how to set it to "stock" setting for 7lbs? or 6lbs?

Kinda sounds like you are missing the boost level set screw at the TOP CENTER of the WG.. it should be a threaded, headless screw with a bolt tightened onto it. Do not run the WG w/o that set screw in place.
The other open port on the TOP (left of center) is for vaccum (if you have a boost controller) and the SIDE port is for boost.
As far as setting it for a 7-9 psi boost level, it depends on the spring that sets the WG minimum boost pressure. Typically, the deltagates come with the 7-9 psi spring and you should get 7psi with the set screw ALL THE WAY OUT (not removed tho) (screwing it in will up the boost)
If, by chance, the spring is a higher boost spring... it won't stop at 7psi. *Kaboom* and you'd need a lower boost spring.
