I'll let someone else chime in about your options here...but a word to the wise: "Budget" and "Turbo" don't go well together.

Re: best s2000 turbo kit.... 2 choices (Under_Pressure)
but heres the thing... there are cheaper non name brand kits out there.... im not going with them at all....
both of these name brands have REAL brands such as turbonetics, garrett, Tial, etc....
ive done my research and turbo'd several vehicles (civic, integra, 240, srt-4 bigger turbo, etc...)

and i'm supposed to be impressed, why?
if you know so much about what you are doing, why are you even asking for our help?
personally I think either kit is a waste of money. save up a little more so you can afford a real kit, or better yet, don't turbo your car. I'm tired of seeing retard's with "blowed" motors

Both of the above kits are useless. If you're on a budget, then don't go boost. You've also missed ONE major key ingredient. ENGINE MANAGEMENT.

Re: best s2000 turbo kit.... 2 choices (projektcivic)
budget and turbo dont go along with each other. ive peaced my kit together and had discounts on parts from local shops. I think ive spent around 3,200 dollars and with out the discounts im sure it would be around 4,500 easily. There is a lot of little stuff people dont think about when boosting a car; do you know what a "missing link" is?
I Hope this isnt off ebay. In the forced induction thread a lot of those guys say they have made around 500-600 horse with the FMICs but All the other parts ive never heard any thing good about. Then again those guys will tell you its save to run your boosted car with no intercooler if you dont have the money for one.

Re: best s2000 turbo kit.... 2 choices (A_P_1)
I'd go with GReddy.
Better safe than sorry.
Only sorry part is that, it's 60 to 80 to 100 more horsepower?
Correct me if I'm wrong.
Also sorry part is, it's $4,500.
From http://www.evasivemotorsports....50040
But it comes with EVERYTHING!!!!!!!
No dyno tuning.
Correct me if I'm wrong on that also.
Thank You.

greddy kits are very basic, and carb legal...i believe...still doesnt mean they dont need to be tuned, they just use an e-manage, instead of a real ems.
but yes, for the op...greddy turbo kit would be a very good choise for him.

the op needs this to go along with his intake:
guaranteed to make 25 HP...
thats if he can install the intake properly...
and if he does in fact install it, hes gonna need a "how to" to take it out and install his ebay special turbo...

Wrong. The map Greddy gives you is a simple basemap to get you to the tuner safely.

Eh..i dont know why he is getting knocked so hard.
I dont see what is so wrong with the second kit besides the wastegate and ems. Id dump that wg and get a tial though. Imagine if it got stuck closed. That would be fun for about 3 seconds.

I don't know why people insist on downgrading the S2000 in stock form by buying cheap ebay junk and throwing it on the car. Actually just go blow it up, then tell people the S2000's are junk. The ones that appreciate the car can go on living without hearing questions like "How do I drift my S2000?" or "will the Invidia exhaust drone at all?" OR "Which crap turbo kit can I put on my car?"
Oh and S2K + budget = sell it and go back to the civic
