Has anyone actually tried to make your exhaust tip blue, give it a burnt tip?

Default Has anyone actually tried to take your exhaust tip Blue , give it a burnt tip?

im talking about the end of your tip of your MUFF lol, muffler...

ive got a 2.5" magnaflow oval muffler painted flat black and took the polished tip off a OEM GSR muffler and put it on...it looks very stock. Is that what the OP was asking?

That color is caused by the oxidation on a titanium exhaust. The oxidation thickness and subsequent color is dependent on the peak temperature.

i was in a hurry. okay here is my question. has anybody made an attept to make the tip of your exhaust blue? just the tip , not the whole exhaust .

That happens naturally on titanium mufflers. You could fake it with a torch on a stainless steel muffler. I have no idea why you would do that.

that makes sence!
torch would make stainless steel blue, but for titanium would take much more heat. well then if torch is the only way , forget it because the n1 isnt stainless steel right.
