1997 Accord Leaky Sunroof
Quick question, my friend has a 1997 Accord and the sunroof leaks really bad all over the inside of the car. Is this a common problem on these Accords? Do you just have to replace the weather stripping around the sunroof to fix the problem? Thanks.

If it is a factory sunroof [Ex model] the most common problem is plugged up sunroof drains.
The drains have a little rubber 'duckbill' on the end of them to prevent bugs from crawling up in there and nesting. Chop off about 1/2" of that duckbill.
To get to the front drains remove the mudflap behind the front wheels and the lower 5-6 screws holding the fender liner in place. Then look behind the liner for a hose
The rear sunroof drains are accessed thru the trunk liners on each side.
Remove the plastic retaining clips to get in behind the liner and again follow the hose to get it loose and cleaned out.
