Default '92 Accord EX fluid leak from the rear?

I was making a quick trip today when someone drove up next to me telling me I was leaking gas. I pulled over to check, and there was indeed a good amount of liquid leaking out of the bottom of the car right below the trunk. I did a sniff test on the liquid, but it wasn't gas. It smelled like slightly mildewy water, which would make sense if some rainwater pooled there since we just had a rainstorm the other day. I don't think it was coolant, but I've never known my car to collect rainwater like that before. I even checked my coolant levels, which were normal. It seems like it only leaks out when the engine is running.

I think I'm worried over nothing, but can anyone confirm my suspicion that it's just rainwater and not something else?

You have nothing in the rear of the vehicle which would leak anything else but gasoline.
More than likely you've got either a leaking Trunk Seal, a leaking Tail Lamp assembly or a leaking Rear Window.
If you pull up the spare tire cover, you may find your reservoir; in the spare tire well.

Oh, yeah that makes sense. Thanks for the input! Although, I still worry that I may be leaking blinker fluid. I hear that stuff can get expensive...

There is brake fluid in the rear, but you didn't mention anything about not being able to stop. So that's not your problem. Probably just water.

Have you changed over to Winter Air for the tires yet? Summer Air can leak over time (it's thinner) :-)
