98 civic CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FLASHING
my car was running fine after i had changed the spark plugs, and cap and rotor, then the next day i was driving on a rainy day and then the check engine light came on, then the check engine light started flashing, then the speedometer started jumping up and down, and all the electrical lights seem to dimmer on and off. can someone please give some tips on how to fix this problem? thanks.

A blinking check engine light usually indicates a misfire code.
Check the FAQ about jumping the service connector to pull the codes.

First things first. Read the codes and find out what they are. There is a Cel Faqs at the top of the forum. After you do that and have the codes check what they are and get back to us if you cant figure it out.

if it never happened before the "tune up" recheck your work. tight connections, plug gap, ect...I have seen cheap caps and rotors cause headaches before
