Default h22 valve springs in B series head

I have heard of this being done, but I want to make sure. Can you put the OEM h22 valve springs into a B series vtec head? If yes, what do you need to do to make them work. Interested in installing the springs into a gsr head.

Do i need to change the spring seat? Valve Keepers? Let me know wussup HT/hybrid!!

I know there is suppose to be a slight difference but my buddy used blueprint b-series springs in an H head with no issues. It made 230 and went 11's, no problems that we could tell.

hahaha. I know what you mean because I tried doing a search before and came up with nothing...

I did talk to a couple shops in the area and they said H valve train works fine. Just dont use huge cams on them cause the springs could bind. But then again, if you're using huge cams, why would you use OEM springs right?

whatever... I was just curious...

Thanks for your input Sixty...

im in for input, but it sounds to me like this is something you would do if you had the 2 laying around the shop and it was just a 160 horse motor with type R cams or something. not like i would intentionally purchase H22 springs, aftermarket B cams and then pray it doesnt float a valve.

LOL i feel ya. People are telling me that its just like swapping in ITR valve springs into a GSR or B16 head. So I guess, if you wanted to put ITR valve Springs into a head, the h22's would be equivalent...
