Icon6 car wont start due to alarm, and i dont have a remote for it. .

Ok, I have a 95 civic sedan, I just replaced the starter and had to reconnect the battery. Doing so, this re-engaged the alarm as which I bought the car without ever getting a remote for it. So now my car won't start. What would it take in order to be able to start it? Every wire under the dash has been spliced. . I've had the car for 6 months now and it has worked perfectly up until this point.

Can you see what alarm it is from looking under the dash? Also can you see a valet button for the alarm? If not we can unplug the alarm and it will let the car start.

If there is a starter kill installed the car will not start if the unit is unplugged. It sounds like there is a starter kill present. Most car alarms have the ability/option. I never install that feature for this exact reason. You need to get under the dash and see if the Black/Wht wire coming off the key cyclinder/ignition column isn't spliced in two with a relay bundle wired in. If so cut the bundle out and re wire the blk/wht wire together. Then if the unit is unplugged the car will start and the unit will no longer be an issue.

^^^^ That depends on the model of the alarm. If its a external relay that controls the starter kill. Unpluging the brain will let the car start. As there is no signal to the alarm to engage the relay. If the relay is on board. If you don't unplug the kill switch side the car will still start if the brain is programed to N.c. Normally closed.
