You can always thread a bolt into somthing and attach the chain, I did on the side of the motor and one on the thermo housing it worked fine. Every situation is different.

Bolts, such as the ones that garb the transmission and motor, just make sure they are threaded enough that they can handle the motor.

It may have been bad but it worked, I threaded a bolt into the side of the head behind the alternator and used the bracket on the trans that holds the hose for the slave cylinder (slave cylinder was not attached at the time)

ok, i did not know if the threads would hold the weight of the motor being aluminum motor and all but thanks everyone!

I usually hook a chain up at 3 points, the top PS pump bracket bolt, then a bolt on the opposite side of the head next to the intake mani (I think I thread one of the frame-to-front-bumpstop-mount bolts in there). Then depending on if you're hoisting the engine only or engine + trans:
Engine only - One of the lower distributor bolt holes with a distributor bolt.
Or:
Engine + trans - There's a steel bracket on top of the trans.
BTW I recommend leaving that rear trans mount on the chassis and loosening the 3 bolts from the engine/trans.
