need help passing emissions
ok i have a 96 accord coupe with a h22a swap. i have a jdm p08 (obd1) ecu with a obd2 to obd1 jumper harness. the problem is the emission test require them to plug in to the ecu to read it obviously it wont read the obd1 ecu i have so... my gf has a 98 accord lx auto i was wondering if i could borrow her ecu just for the test but i think the 98s have a immobilizer in the ecu(not sure tho) so is it possible?

Re: need help passing emissions
what year h22 do you have?
most likely it is going to take some effort and money to pass emissions.
anyway you will need to have an obd2 ecu in there without a check engine light and enough driving time to have it in a mode it can be checked.

You're not going to pass with that setup. Period.
You converted an OBDII vehicle to OBDI. You are not going to be able to run your girlfriend's OBDII ECU (which has an immobilizer) and have it run your H22A without a CEL and other errors. That is ignoring the difference in the motors themselves.
