Shift lock has to be realeased manually & no brake lights
Hey y'all
My 2000 crv will not shift out of park unless I manually release it via the key hole in the steering console. The brake lights are also out. I replaced the brake light switch and the throttle position sensor.
Does anybody know if a bad shiftlock solenoid would disable your brake lights?
Any suggestions to continue troubleshooting?

Id wager a broken circuit in the brakes over an additional sytem. Check for continuity at the brake switch and chase that circuit 1st. Typically brake lights tend to be wired independently to minimize unrelated failure

What was your resolution, l Anito? My '04 Accord does exactly the same thing???
(Doesn't mean it's the same solution, but it's a start)
