How hard is it to replace a rear motor mount?
Wondering how hard it would be to replace a rear motor mount in my 92 hatch with b18c1 swap? Got the swap a couple of days ago and rear mount seems out. What mount am I going to need a gsr mount or ? and also am I going to need to jack up the motor so I can get to the mount or can I just replace it with out doing that?
Needs some help?

the mount itself is most probably a civic mount. the t bracket in the back which attaches to the motor/trans is from an integra. if you mean to replace the bushing you're probably using your civic rear rubber mount.
i'd pick up some prothane motor mount inserts and put one back there if you are going back there.
i've found the rear mount a pain in the *** to replace. i would most def. pull the motor a little bit. if not take it to a shop. i find paying $50 for labor on this piece is fine with me, and i'm a cheap bastard.

it can be kind of tricky. i would recommend removing the intake manifold support bracket first. then take your time, one of the bolts is easier to access from the top, the other two from the bottom. careful no to damage any of the coolant lines, they are located right next to the motor mount...

So that mount on there is a civic mount, I though they would use an Integra mount just like the two mounts that are left and right of the head.
Correct?

I helped a friend put in a HASport rear drag mount and it was a lot easier than i thought it'd be. The room is a little limited but its really not hard at all.

would I have to lift up the motor a little or can I just change it from where its at?

you're gonna need to have something support the motor - or have a few friends lift it in the back, and push down on the front... just to keep the pressure off the mount to remove it.
the rear mount is off a civic.
and obviously the rear bracket is off a gsr.
